More Than a Supplier
Most coffee suppliers sell you product. They deliver bags, send invoices, and call once a
quarter to ask how much more you need.
Lusso Scelta works differently. We choose a small number of hospitality partners across
Canada — boutique hotels, upscale restaurants, and independent cafés — and we invest in
their success the way an Italian roaster invests in a single estate. Coffee supply is the
foundation. The partnership is what's built on top of it: regional exclusivity, branded
hospitality materials, marketing visibility, espresso programme training, and for partners
building from the ground up, full venue support through our design and construction team.
Our team has built and operated luxury hospitality concepts directly. We are partners in
our partners' success because we have been operators ourselves. We do not pitch. We solve problems.
Every Partnership Begins the Same Way
The 60-day pilot is the only entry point.
We do not sign annual agreements with venues we have not yet served. The pilot is a mutual
evaluation — sixty days of working together to understand whether Lusso Scelta belongs in
your venue and whether your venue belongs in our limited partner network.
During the pilot, we deliver a curated selection of espresso blends, branded service
materials, and dedicated support from our team. You serve our coffee, observe how your
guests respond, and decide whether the partnership is right for the long term. Most pilots
convert. Some do not. We treat both outcomes as honest.
After the pilot, partners move into one of two relationships: a Coffee Partnership focused
on premium product supply and brand integration, or a House Partnership built around full
venue support. The path forward is decided based on what your venue actually needs.
The Coffee Partnership
For venues that have built their identity and want to elevate their coffee programme.
For most of our partners, premium coffee with proper brand integration is the right
relationship. Coffee Partners receive:
Regional exclusivity. One Lusso Scelta partner per geographic area. Your competitors
cannot serve the same brand. This is a protected positioning advantage, written into
the agreement.
Italian espresso blends, roasted in Italy. Our full collection is available,
including Saquella 1856 espresso joining the house in 2026, with priority allocation
for Coffee Partners.
Branded hospitality materials. Espresso cups and saucers, menu inserts, branded
napkin holders — designed to integrate with your existing aesthetic, not impose on it.
Marketing visibility. Your venue is featured across Lusso Scelta's digital channels:
website partner directory, social media features, and email campaigns. We invest in
driving guests to our partners.
Espresso programme consulting. Menu integration, pricing strategy, presentation
standards, and staff training delivered by our certified team. Your espresso programme
should hold the same standard as the coffee inside it.
Priority access. New blends, limited releases, and seasonal selections are offered
to Coffee Partners before public release.
The House Partnership
For partners building from the ground up — or rebuilding what already exists.
For partners launching new venues, redesigning existing spaces, or seeking deeper
integration with our team, the House Partnership is the full programme.
It includes everything in the Coffee Partnership, plus:
Venue design and construction.Through our partnership with Vancouver-based
construction and design specialists, House Partners can build or rebuild their
venue with a team that has delivered hospitality projects across Canada and the
Middle East. From concept through opening day.
Strategic marketing partnership. Brand positioning, launch campaigns, ongoing
digital strategy, and growth advisory. We have launched and grown hospitality
businesses ourselves — including Varo Global Cafe, Canada's first luxury Italian
coffee retail-and-cafe concept (Vancouver, 2023). The strategies we use for our
own ventures are the strategies we deploy for House Partners.
Operator-to-operator consulting. Concept development, programme design, menu
strategy, pricing, staff training, and the operational decisions that determine
whether a hospitality concept becomes a destination or stays an idea. We do not
work from theory. We work from what we have done ourselves.
Long-term relationship. House Partnerships are not annual supplier contracts.
They are multi-year commitments built around the partner's growth — adjusted as
the venue evolves, expanded as the partner opens additional locations.
Why Partners Choose Us
The Italian luxury coffee category in Canada is small. The number of suppliers offering
premium Italian product is smaller still. The number offering true partnership — beyond
the sales call — can be counted on one hand.
Lusso Scelta is built on three principles that shape every partner relationship:
We have done it ourselves. Our team launched Varo Global Cafe in 2023, operated
luxury Italian coffee distribution in Canada through Pacific Innovators Trading Inc.,
and developed hospitality concepts in Vancouver, Whitby, the Middle East, and beyond.
We understand what hospitality operators actually need because we have been hospitality
operators.
We choose by standard, not by volume. Lusso Scelta is a curated luxury house. We
do not chase volume partners. We choose venues whose brand standards match our own —
and we say no when they do not.
Our partners' success is our success. When a Lusso Scelta partner grows, our brand
grows. When a partner opens a second location, we are part of that opening. We measure
our success in our partners' growth, not in cases shipped.
